I was first dead-set on a Rolex GMT Master 116710LN. I loved the GMT function and even was initially enamored with the ceramic bezel. However, it's size and flashiness just wasn't for me. I am fixated on finding an early 16570 (pre-1998) with the polar porcelain dials. Quick question: will all tritium lumes eventually yellow in time into a “chicchi di mais” – or is it only for a small percentage? Looking at this dial I can’t for the life of me figure out why Rolex would make the move from this 40mm design to the current 42mm 216570. The bright white dial (commonly nicknamed “polar”) looks expansive and wide with plenty of open space.
